Cross Examination – Unveiling Part Two – 11:00 am
This week (March 20th) Pastor Jeff continues our sermon series.

Unveiling – Part Two

In continuing our Cross Examination series, Pastor Jeff brings us “Unveiling: Part Two”. As Jesus died, the curtain in the Holy of Holies was torn and the Roman Centurion came to realize that Jesus truly was the Son of God. At that time, many people let their loyalty lie with Caesar Augustus, who also claimed to be the Son of God. The Roman Centurion realized that he needed to turn his loyalty to Jesus. We as Christians need to examine where our loyalties lie.

For further thought:

What loyalties do you struggle with?

What is keeping you from completely giving yourself to Jesus?

In continuing our Cross Examination series, Pastor Jeff brings us “Unveiling: Part One”. As Jesus died, the curtain in the Holy of Holies was torn. This symbolizes the barrier between God and all of his people being brought down. In today's world, many things, just like that curtain, keep us from God. We will examine those barriers to find out if they are real or if they are just perceptions in our minds or the minds of others.

    FOR FURTHER THOUGHT:

What barriers are keeping you from God?

Which of those barriers are real versus perceived?

Cross Examination – The Crook-edness of the Cross – 11:00 AM
In continuing our Cross Examination series, Pastor Jeff brings us “The Crook-edness of the Cross”. We look at the two criminals who hung on crosses beside Jesus. We examine how we are like each criminal. We commit ourselves to constant discipleship and reflection like the criminal who asked Jesus to remember him.
How does Jesus dying on the cross change your life and destiny today?

Cross Examination – The Two Shall Become One – 11:00
In continuing our Cross Examination series, Pastor Alison brings us “The Two Shall Become One”. We look at commitment and how it is no longer as permanent as it used to be. We look at the commitment we make to Jesus when we follow him, when we accept our forgiveness.  We commit ourselves to constant discipleship.  Are we so committed to being Jesus’ disciples that we take risks for the benefit of his work.
